Scott Pilgrim Takes Off S1E7 2 Scott 2 Pilgrim Recap

In the seventh episode of Scott Pilgrim Takes Off, they’re calling it “2 Scott 2 Pilgrim,” and things get seriously trippy as Scott has a run-in with his future self, setting off a chain of mind-bending revelations. First off, there’s this Vegan-powered portal that sucks Scott into the future just as he’s about to throw down with Matthew Patel. And guess who pulls him in? None other than his future self. Future Scott spills the beans about his relationship with Ramona in another timeline, revealing what went down during Scott’s supposed “death.” Turns out, the future Toronto they find themselves in isn’t all sunshine and rainbows.

Future Ramona’s still doing her mail delivery gig, but she’s still struggling with that whole MPH to KPH conversion thing. (And let’s keep the Sonic the Hedgehog references on the down-low.)When Scott returns to his present, he’s back with Ramona, but there’s this weird barrier stopping them from picking up where they left off. Knives come up with this wild plan to bring together the whole League of Evil Exes for the premiere of the Scott Pilgrim musical.

And get this, the Katayanagi Twins, Evil Exes 5 and 6, somehow came back to life after getting defeated and redeemed themselves. Death doesn’t seem to stick for the rest of the League, and they’ve upped their game. Future Scott drops a bombshell with this slideshow of the original graphic novel story. Scott and Ramona tied the knot after beating the League, but there’s a shot of a seriously angry Ramona with “DIVORCE” plastered on it, hinting that their happily-ever-after wasn’t so happy after all.

As the gang gears up for the premiere, you just know the adventure’s far from over. What crazy twists are waiting for them this time?
