Hazbin Hotel S1E5 Dad Beat Dad Recap

In the fifth episode of Hazbin Hotel, titled “Dad Beat Dad,” the chaotic and colorful world of sinners takes center stage once again. Here’s a recap of the episode.

Our very own Princess of Hell, Charlie Morningstar, has an epiphany: her father, Lucifer, might just hold the key to getting her a meeting with Heaven. She’s determined to take her case to the higher-ups, beyond Adam.

In the hotel parlor, Charlie sets up a red-string conspiracy wall to untangle why the hotel’s efforts are failing. Despite her doubts, Vaggie suggests Charlie seek her dad’s help. While Lucifer’s past decisions led to the exterminations, Charlie hopes he can pull some strings and arrange a meeting with Heaven.

Lucifer finds himself surrounded by rubber ducks in his room. He proudly reveals his latest creation: a fire-spitting, back-flipping rubber duck. However, his joy is short-lived as he realizes it’s not as impressive as he’d hoped. Reflecting on a photo with Charlie and Lillith, Lucifer is interrupted by a call from Charlie.

Charlie reaches out to Lucifer, explaining her presence at the Hazbin Hotel and her need for his assistance. She’s determined to talk to Heaven, even if Lucifer hesitates. Reminding him of the exterminations, she hopes to bypass Adam and reach someone with more authority.

Despite their complicated relationship, all the residents of the Hazbin Hotel are intrigued to meet Lucifer for their reasons. And so, the interdimensional drama continues!
