Fast forward to the present, where a group of adventurers, led by Laios, finds themselves in a dire situation facing a formidable dragon. Amidst the chaos, Laios’s sister Falin sacrifices herself to save him, using a spell to free the party from the dungeon before being devoured.

Determined to rescue Falin, Laios confronts the harsh reality of their predicament: they’re low on provisions, two party members have abandoned them, and they lack the funds for supplies. In a stroke of desperation, Laios proposes a daring plan—they’ll hunt dungeon monsters for food.

Armed with a guidebook, they cautiously navigate the dungeon, seeking out edible creatures. They manage to slay a Walking Mushroom and a scorpion, but cooking them proves to be a challenge. Enter Senshi, a seasoned adventurer with a knack for cooking dungeon monsters. Senshi’s culinary expertise inspires Laios, who invites him to join their rescue mission.

United by their quest, the group delves deeper into the dungeon, encountering perilous challenges and tantalizing culinary opportunities along the way.
